uninvited, the enemy
has come ashore
to hunt us down
one by one
we wait
unseen, the enemy
is free to roam
through every town
one by one
we wait
unknown, the enemy
spreads our deepest
fears around
one by one
we wait
we wait
uninvited, the enemy
has come ashore
to hunt us down
one by one
we wait
unseen, the enemy
is free to roam
through every town
one by one
we wait
unknown, the enemy
spreads our deepest
fears around
one by one
we wait
we wait
Yes, this. Well-expressed. The uncertainty has us all wide-eyed, sitting on the edges of our seats, barely able to breathe, wanting to deny, wanting to hide, wanting to escape… and… we wait.

Thank you Sally. I think we don’t really know how to act right now–this wasn’t in the manual.

I explained the virus to my parrots, as being harmful invisible bugs, and one of them, Tweetie, keep staring at the floor (in fear) from her perch. I shouldn’t have said anything! 🙂
Stay safe!
