more time

finsp2

the hands of time stood deathly still

the winds had ceased to blow

and silence settled on the land

like softly falling snow

it seemed an ancient prophecy

at last had come about

for all things stood the way they were

the day that time ran out

and everyone regretted

the life they’d left behind

they knew they’d do much better–

if they only had more time

Meaning of Life Quote

As another year sprints toward the finish line, we may find ourselves reflecting on this latest chapter of our lives and pondering the meaning of it all.

Some folks put God in the equation, while others hold that the meaning of life is that which you give it–you decide what you want your life to mean. Still others set the bar a bit lower, and that brings us to this quote by Albert Camus:

“The meaning of life is

whatever you’re doing

that prevents you

from killing yourself”

Home

finalien

We had crashed on

An alien world;

Now our ship was

Beyond all repair,

And though we had

Prayed for our rescue,

We knew we weren’t

Going anywhere.

Long after we’d

Made this our home,

A scouting ship

Answered our prayer,

And though we had

Prayed for our rescue,

We knew we weren’t

Going anywhere.
