I was out in the yard at my place,

When I looked up and saw my mom’s face;

Now, I know that she’s gone,

And I’m sure she’s moved on,

But I mowed the whole lawn just in case.

a proud pine stands in

the resplendent autumn woods–

and is not impressed

their loud colors are soon gone

yet he remains evergreen
